Some bits and pieces of information for parents and competitors for our upcoming In House Competition this weekend Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June at Longford Gymnastics Club.
1. The competition timings have been worked out relative to the number of entrants. We ask you to be patient if there are slight run overs but we do not expect this to happen. All age groups/categories are running back to back so you will be invited to enter when we are ready but we advise that you do not arrive too early.
2. Saturday competitors please be aware that the outdoor market will be winding down by the start of our competition and do feel free to park in any other areas other than our immediate carpark. It is busy here on Saturdays so do mind yourselves in the carpark.
3. Spectator Entry fee will be 5e per Adult. Children do not need to pay. ( Cash accepted on the day)
3. Gymnasts should wear a slimfit tshirt and leggings/shorts or leotard if preferred. Joggers/hoodies would not be appropriate wear for a competition and they would be too warm.
4. Hair must be tied back and ALL jewellery removed.
5. Our gym is food and drink free so we ask that only water is brought into our gym. No hot drinks please.
6. Parents are not permitted to video or take photos during the competition but you can off course take photos of your own child at the end of the competition ( time permitting)
7. We ask you to not remain in the gym unecessarily so we may stick to our timings for the next competitors coming in.
This is only our 2nd In House event.We ask for your patience, support and understanding in making this an enjoyable experience for all.
