Re: Community Games.
We are receiving many queries/calls /messages regarding this.
So to clarify the process and our involvement.
Each parish Area Secretary invites interest and registration for gymnastics. If they receive alot of applicants per age group then a selection process/ Area final should take place in your parish to select which children will represent your Area at the Longford County Finals in April.
2 children per age category will then attend the Longford County Finals ( which we are hosting and judging ) to compete on behalf of your Area.
1st and 2nd place per category will then go forward to represent Longford at the National Finals.
We have this week managed to source all routine videos that we sent out to all CG areas 2 years ago. We have passed those on and they have been forwarded to all Area Secretaries in Longford I believe.
You can also find copies of all routines on the Community Games website under Gymnastics.
For all queries, please contact your own parish Area Secretary and they can forward you the videos of the routines.
Our only role here is to host and judge the County Finals.
This is a Community competition run by volunteer parents in your communities. If you are a Gymnastics mam or dad, I'm sure they would only be too happy for any help you can give them and consideration during the process.
Kind Regards,
Siobhan
